The earlier model of the Aiptek PocketCinema did not have built-in memory but the V10 version, the one this whole review is about, has 1GB internal memory which can be upgraded to a maximum of 8GB via external memory card. it supports only SD and MMC cards.

This is a very cheap projector, considering the fact that multimedia projectors are very heavily priced. It costs only 1/3 to that of convention projector and take much less space than those bulky projectors required. This small projector also contains built-in speakers of 0.5 W power. This pocket projector by Aiptek requires that you convert your media files to MPEG4 ASF or MJPEG AVI before playing them otherwise this small projector will not recognize them at all. The necessary software for converting to the desired format comes with this pocket projector so you need not to spend extra money on conversion tools.
This small projector is capable of projecting image on any surface with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The projection surface can be as far as six feet away and the image can stretch up to 50 inches wide. This Aiptek portable projector has a chargeable battery which last for no more than 60 minutes. I wish it lasts at least 45 minutes more but considering the fact is so a small project with a very low price and really cool gadget, this is somewhat acceptable.
